CUSTOMIZED “MACHINED” SPRINGS

December 4, 2006 -- Customized “machined” springs are available from
Helical Products Company in a variety of configurations and materials to
accommodate those with precise spring requirements. Helical’s springs
are curved beams machined from a single piece of material into the
special configuration desired. The HELI-CAL®
Flexure, as the beam is called, can be made to incorporate
special design features or characteristics. A specific advantage of
this technology is that customer specified end attachments, such as
tangs, clamps, flanges or threaded ends, can be integrated into single,
multifunctional components. State-of-the-art CAD and finite element
analysis software is used to create and optimize designs for specific
applications.
