HIGH PERFORMANCE “MACHINED” SPRINGS

SANTA MARIA, CA., October 19, 2004—Twelve page pamphlet describes an advanced “machined spring” technology that makes Helical springs better able to integrate end attachments such as threads, flanges, slots, etc., than can other, more traditional types of springs.

Multi-start construction (more than one spring coil) provides a broad range of spring rates and functionality within a given envelope.

Differences in coil geometry enable machined springs to provide more precise performance, features and functions than other types of springs, e.g. reliability, versatility, integrity and cost effectiveness.  Available in most materials, such as stainless steel, high strength aluminum, high strength titanium, all machinable alloys and machinable plastics.
