Precision Machined Springs

SANTA MARIA, CA., January 15, 1999 -- Customized, precision "machined" springs are available from Helical Products Company in a variety of configurations and materials to accommodate those with precise spring requirememnts.  Helical's springs are curved beams machined from a single piece of material into the special configuration desired.  The HELI-CAL Flexure, as the beam is called, can be made to incorporate special design features or characteristics. A specific adbantage of this technology--customer specified end attachments, such as tangs, clamps, flanges or threaded ends can be integrated into single, multifunctional components.  State-of-the-art CAD and finite element analysis software is used to create and optimize designs for specific applications.
