SANTA MARIA, CA., March 9, 1999 -- These highly specialized,
flexible, one-piece couplings and precision springs combined with various end connections
are custom manufactured for a variety of applications. Some of the "specials"
shown are: combination flexible coupling and gears that remain meshed even with the
presence of misalignment; a lateral bending spring with integrated threaded nut
attachment; coupling with notched disk; compression springs with threaded shaft;
etc. These parts may be specified in a variety of materials to suit exacting
specifications.
Made from a single piece of material for integrity
of operation, the hybrid couplings will compensate angular misalignment, parallel offset
and axial movement, while the precision machined springs will compensate for compression,
torsion, extension, and lateral bending.
