The series incorporates two helical beams in each of two separate flexures, combining greater end-to-end rotational accuracy with radial flexibility in one design. THE DS Series provides the high torsional stiffness and low inertia necessary for positioning devices and lead screws. The product affords the designer with substantial .010-inch parallel offset capability, reducing the need for high precision alignment during assembly operations. It also accommodates three degrees of angular shift misalignment and permits axial motion of +.008". Outside diameter dimensions come in 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", and 2" sizes.
