KEYWAYS ADDED TO HELICAL'S  NEW X-SERIES TORSIONALLY STIFF COUPLING LINE

[X-Series Couplings]

 

SANTA MARIA, CA., August 18, 1999--Helical Products Company has added keyways to its 40mm and 50mm sizes of its recently introduced X-Series coupling line. The single piece coupling is said to have the excellent performance characteristics of the metal bellows concept at cost competitive pricing and up to 10 times greater torsional stiffness than beam types.

X-Series couplings feature high torsionally stiffness, low radial loads, one piece integrity, no maintenance, and zero backlash. According to Helical the coupling is ideal for motion control applications (servo motors). The X-Series is available in OD 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, and 50 mm sizes. Couplings can be ordered with bores that are either millimeter, inch or combinations of the two.
