TORQUE ROUND THE CORNER
This U-joint from Helical Products Co., Inc. absorbs angular, parallel and skewed
misalignments naturally, even when subjected to torque. It is machined from a single piece
of material, providing zero backlash and constant velocity rotation. It comes in sizes
from 3/8 to 2 1/4 inches OD, (9.5 to 57.2mm OD) and covers operating torques up to 275
lb-in., (31Nm). It can even transmit torque through 90 degrees. There are no moving parts
to wear and break. This Helical U-joint has been used in encoder and electric motor
applications, where performance reliability is of paramount importance.
