Helical's
X-Series
single piece couplings offer a cost effective balance between
couplings that are too stiff radially and those not stiff enough
torsionally for servo-type applications. This coupling features
high torsional stiffness, low radial loads,
one-piece integrity,
good flexibility, and zero backlash. The X-Series
coupling is an excellent, low cost alternative to bellows type
couplings and ideal for AC and DC servomotor type applications.
These low inertia couplings are made from 7075-T6 aluminum.
Created for high performance motion control systems, the
X-series
incorporates two flexible element sets -- combining greater end
to end rotational accuracy with radial flexibility -- in one
design. Available in six outside diameter sizes, from 15mm to
50mm and any bore combination between the listed minimum and
maximum. Couplings can be ordered with bores that are either
in millimeter, inch, or combination of the two.
